What I dislike about High Level (Cons Summary):
If there’s one downside about Go Highlevel it would be that it offers so many stacks of technology that it has a bit of a learning curve.
And not every business will need all the features of HighLevel.
So you can focus on only the products you need and ignore the rest.
You can use it however you want.
But in order to help ease this steep learning curve, High Level has many training videos and quick-start guides for new users to help them learn the ins and outs of their fantastic tool.
For me, I like to use the best tools available at my disposal, regardless of price. I don’t like to use cheap products. I’d rather pay the extra money for a more premium product.
Go High Level is an exception to this because even though it is an ultra premium product, they aren’t charging absurd prices as some other CRMs do (*cough Hubspot *cough)

The booking feature is just what it sounds like:

I used to use Calendly and Oncehub (formerly ScheduleOnce) so that clients could set calls with me, but switching to gohighlevel allowed me to use their Booking system instead.
This gohighlevel feature helps reduce my cost for these booking subscriptions.
Although it doesn’t cost much per month, these small Booking subscriptions can add up.
That’s why I’m so excited to share Go HighLevel with the world and why I’m writing this review of gohighlevel.
You can easily embed the book and appointment tool into your funnels or your landing pages so that it’s all integrated.
It’s an awesome GHL feature!
#5 – Go High Level SMS Marketing System
The SMS feature allows you to send texts to your clients through mobile.
This is a great way to integrate multiple touch-points and mix it with your email follow-ups.
In the GHL dashboard, you can view and reply to messages directly in the software.
You can view the text delivery reports as well.
The app comes with a visual editor so you can actually see what it’ll look like when it is sent to your prospect. It even has a phone screen to the right-hand side as you’re typing so you can see exactly what it’ll look like
You can also monitor your client’s progress as they go from prospect to buyer, and you can see the date of the SMS messages as well.
The most popular way to integrate text messages is through a Twilio account.
Due note that any integration with text messages will cost you extra money.
With Twilio, it will cost you an additional $ 0.0079 per message to anyone in the United States.
But this cost is definitely worth it if you’re generating extra leads through SMS.
But the best part?
You can see all your messages, including SMS, and social media messages all in ONE dashboard.
I’ll talk more about this later in the Unique features section.
But I think it’s one of the best features of using gohighlevel for your agency IMHO.
#6 – Review Request
Interwoven into Highlevel’s CRM Reputation Management, you can manage feedback and reviews for your customers or even your own business.
Within GHL’s software is also a Review Widget.
You can use the review widget to send a “Review Request” to your customers, to nudge them into writing a review for your business on whatever platform you choose!
For instance, if you want more Facebook reviews, you can have it ask to send out review requests automatically. A message goes out through automation to your clients requesting a review on Facebook.
And if you have this White-Labeled, your clients can ask their customers for reviews on their service, so they can increase their bottom line even more!
#7 – GHL’s Content Management
This is one of the features that I don’t actually use.
I just use my blog that you’re reading this one, which is WordPress for all my CMS needs.
But if you want to use it, go highlevel’s CMS isn’t too shabby at all.
CMS stands for Content Management System and it’s a place to manage all your content within one integrated place, the most popular CMS in the world being WordPress.
Go High Level’s system allows you to create, edit, approve, publish and host all your content within their software.
Here are the complete features of their CMS:
- Create new posts in just a few clicks.
- Scheduling posts
- Edit older pages
- Create, edit, approve and publish options.
#8 Analytics & Reporting
Of course, every CRM and Pipeline system will come with reporting and it’s no different with GHL.
The difference here is that Go High Level has lots of features that many CRMs do not have.
Compared to other software, GHL provides you with detailed reports from your social media campaigns, call reports and appointment reports.
These include data from both Google Ads and Facebook Marketing.
The reporting is also split into mobile and desktop data.
It also includes something similar to heatmaps where you can see what visitors are doing on your website, how they got to your site, and how much time they spend on the site.
Reporting isn’t just for agency owners either.
With their white-labeling feature, you can also provide your clients with the same reporting that you get.
That’s why I use highlevel as my favorite CRM. Because it doesn’t just provide MY business with reports, it also sends them to my clients automatically.
#9 – Membership Sites
Gohighlevel helps you create your own online course without getting a third-party service like Teachable or Thinkific.
You can use go Highlevel to create membership sites and if you want to migrate your membership site to gohighlevel, you’ll also be reducing another subscription that you won’t need anymore.
The dashboard is very simple, something you would find with Teachable or Learnworlds and you would have the power to use their visual editor to build out your course.

#10 – Copy & Paste Funnels and Automations
This should honestly be higher up the list, maybe top 3.
But one thing that I liked about ClickFunnels is you can share your entire funnel with one click to anyone you like.
Same thing with ActiveCampaign. You can share your entire automation funnel with a URL and anyone can import your entire automation right into their account.
Well, you can do both with GHL. These are called Go High Level “Snapshots.”
You can not only import funnels from one High Level account to another High Level account, you can also import them directly from Clickfunnels.
You can also share automations with other High Level accounts too.
Go High Level Review: My favorite Gohighlevel features and what makes it Unique
As you can tell, Go High Level has changed the game for me.
Let me tell you MY favorite features and some unique features that no other marketing software provides.
My favorite features:
#1 – Email Marketing Follow-ups and go High Level CRM integration – All-in-One
This is how my business looked like before GoHighLevel:
- I would create sales funnels with Clickfunnels.
- Then I would craft email automations with ActiveCampaign
- I would use Calendly to set up my appointments
- I would use Twilio for SMS marketing
- I would blog on a separate website using a drag and drop builder
- I would use Google Analytics to see website stats
- And I would manually create custom reports for my clients every month
That’s six different tools!
After using GHL, I do all of this within highlevel:
- Create sales funnels inside the Highlevel platform
- Use the High Level page builder to capture leads
- After the lead gets into the system, I use the GHL email automation for follow-up emails.

#2 – White-Labeling
This is another favorite of mine.
With their Agency Unlimited Account, high level allows you to White Label and brand your desktop app.
And you can send the dashboard directly to your clients, so they can see all their numbers including:

- etc.
They can also consolidate their messages into one system including Facebook messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram and many more!
Your clients will have no idea you’re using the gohighlevel platform because there’s no way to tell!

You’re able to use your own custom domain to mask the Go High Level platform.
You’re also able to build funnels for multiple customers and use your white label to create the automation for them, just like you for your own business!
This means that you would build your client’s entire funnel all within the system, and they’ll be able to see everything within their dashboard.

If you also want to white-label your very own mobile app version of GHL, then you need to upgrade to their highest tier.

Aren’t you sick of having many different social media and communication platforms and checking each individual message one at a time?
One of my favorite features of gohighlevel is their incredible All-in-One Messaging.
What I mean by this, is this:

As I have mentioned before, I used to have subscriptions to over 30+ apps and multiple software stacks and it was getting out of control.

GoHighLevel Cons: Things I Didn’t Like
- Not the easiest to use. Comes with a learning curve.
One of the biggest cons of Gohighlevel is that it’s not that easy to use.
If you’re used to marketing automation and have experience in CRM, then the transition is very easy.
But for beginners, there is a learning curve.
Just because you have a powerful tool in your hands, High Level won’t turn you into a Top Tier digital marketer overnight. You still have to put in some work to develop this skill.
But, it’ll help you become a lot more efficient than with any other agency tool I’ve come across.
It’s like using a drill versus a screwdriver. One is much faster and more efficient.
But just because you have an electric drill, doesn’t mean you’re a good carpenter. You still have to develop that separate skill.
For those that need help with getting started, I’ll be making a tutorial shortly that’ll help even the very beginners become a pro in a very short time.
- Another minor con for me, is that it doesn’t integrate with LinkedIn (yet).
I use LinkedIn for a lot of my networking and outreach, but you can’t get the messaging data directly into Go High Level.
Hopefully, they can make this feature available in the near future.
If you want to use this feature, you can probably use Zapier, but I haven’t had the chance to start using it yet.

So we’ve covered much ground within this GoHighLevel Review and went over a lot of its functionality.
But how can we actually use it and get the most from it?
There’s usually a high cost of marketing so we want to be able to get the most out of our tool.

Hubspot is a CRM and autoresponder at its core.
High Level is both of these and has a dozen more features.
Hubspot lacks the appointment rescheduling feature, which is included with Calendly, but it’s also offered with GOHIGHLEVEL.
No need to connect Zapier just to use this feature.
With High Level you’re also able to send SMS without relying on third-party apps.
Not only can you send sms and emails, but you can also send voice messages as well with HighLevel.
In order for most integrations to be possible with Hubspot, you would need to use Zapier. And that means using Zapier for a ton of apps, which would drive up your cost.

ActiveCampaign’s forte lies in email automation. It isn’t the best CRM, but you can also use it as one if you wish.
GO High Level also does email automation, but it’s also really good for CRM.
ActiveCampaign has many integrations built into its system, and I really like its email designer and builder.
With ActiveCampaign, you’re also able to share your email funnels and automations with other people. And you can import these automations directly into your own Active Campaign account!
But here’s the thing:
High Level can do the exact same thing!
You’re able to share your automations and emails with anyone and they can directly import it into their own GHL dashboard, called GoHighLevel Snapsshots.
Active Campaign also allows you to send SMS messages, but you won’t be able to receive messages.
This is a problem that marketing agencies solve by using HL.
Because with HL you’re able to receive messages as well as send them.

A form is like Google forms where you can get info about your prospects all in one page.

Landing Page Builder
With a landing page, you’re able to capture the user’s email address in exchange for something free like an ebook.

How to Cancel GoHighLevel?

3. It’ll take you to a page that says “Modify your Subscription Plan.” You’ll see the Red Cancel button. Click on that.
4. GoHighLevel will request your reason for cancellation. After inputting your reason, on the next page you’ll see two choices:
Pause Account or Cancel Account.
1. You can choose to pause the account, which saves all your data, but I do believe there is a small fee for this. Or you can choose to cancel by clicking the “Cancel Now” button.
2. It’ll take you to a short form, and after filling it out you click “Confirm Cancellation” and you’re done!
3. You’ll get a confirmation message and the amount of time the cancellation will go into effect, eg. 72 hours.
